Our attitude towards Health, Safety, the Environment and Quality is at the core or everything we do and our 'Safety First' policy is ingrained throughout our workforce. It is the first topic we discuss during our internal meetings and is the first area that our operatives and managers review before we start work each day. As a consequence, we have a very positive AIR rate that we strive to maintain and improve on through continual process review. Good H&S practice falls hand in hand with both Environmental awareness and then Quality. The old adage that a safe site is a good site is a principle that we work to. Our operatives clean up and ensure that our areas are tidy, safe and clean and this enhances the quality of our finished product. Our site teams are equally environmental conscious and have all received internal environmental awareness training and we carry out environmental audits as part of our site safety inspection regime.
Health & Safety
Our commitment to Health & Safety is absolutely what you would expect from a large Brickwork contractor and having worked for many of the leading contractors in the UKCG we comfortably comply with standards that are being set by the most reputable organisations in our industry. Demolition projects probably provide the most stringent compliance regulations within our industry and we apply the principles from our demolition services across our business, providing extremely comprehensive Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) that demonstrate our level of preparation for our works.
Our workforce is 100% CSCS accredited, our Managers are SMSTS trained and as a business, we undertake our own weekly safety inspections as well as supporting the Principle Contractors that we work for. We are CHAS accredited and continually review our internal processes, supported by the relevant training necessary to strive to maintain our already very high standards. Our Site Safety regime is also independently audited by Prorisk Safety Management Ltd.
Environment
Bricks are effectively a natural product, made from the earths rawest of materials so the environment is never far away from our thoughts. We are extremely aware of playing our part in protecting the environment that we live in and undertake our own Environmental Impact Assessments as part of our RAMS.
We endeavor to keep waste to an absolute minimum and segregate any residual material for restocking, re-use our segregated waste for recycling dependent on the site facilities. We keep dust and noise generated by our works to a minimum through using dust and noise suppression techniques and this is particularly relevant for our demolition projects. We are also aware of our responsibility to stop 'run off' entering the water course.

We take enormous pride in the schemes that we help build and the quality of our workmanship that goes in to them. We operate our own internal Quality Control procedures and we will put right any issues before they are even recognised.
